In 1991 I was part of PRC, our local hip hop posse. I produced the music for this crew.
It was not easy to satisfy the mc’s, dancers, other crew members and the audience. So that made me look more critical at my work. I started to pay more attention to the groove, the sound and arrangements.
I used two Amigas that I played in sync to produce the tracks. We never recorded the vocals, guitar (on ‘Gimme some of that ol’ hoemp’) and scratches. The following tracks are instrumentals used for a live show.
