In 1997, Dutch national broadcaster VPRO television invited me to create the new leader for their children program ‘Villa Achterwerk‘. This leader has been used for many years.
The video on the left is the leader, the video on the right is an alternative version I made to try out other ideas. We filmed children in colourful outfits making sounds and saying ‘Hasta la Pasta, dit is de Villa’. Then I took these recordings into the studio and created the music and video sample track.
